  •  Plan to facilitate student reflection on what they know across languages on a regular basis.
  • Analyze the importance of learning about their students’ understandings and competencies across all of their languages.

Activities

  • Directly experience examples of Common Underlying Proficiency, Translanguaging, and Linguistic Repertoires
  • Planning for ways to build a multilingual paradigm by inviting diverse cultural, linguistic, and multiliteracies into the curriculum (Preview-View-Review, Contrastive analysis)
