Enhancing Visible Learning with the T3 Framework

In this session participants will engage in a deeper discussion on how to enhance critical influences in John Hattie’s Visible Learning Model using the guidance provided by The The T3 Framework aligns with and boosts Visible Learning claims, inviting the use of classroom technologies to move beyond the Translational (Surface Learning), to also incorporate the Transformational (Deeper Learning), and the Transcendent (Knowledge Transfer) uses of digital tools. Participants will receive a copy of the research paper, Disrupting Low-Impact Technology Use: Aligning Visible Learning and the T3 Framework for Innovation.

Outcomes:

  • Understand and be able to describe critical influences in John Hattie’s Visible Learning Model;
  • Understand and be able to describe how the T3 Framework strategies advance the impact of these critical influences; and
  • Begin to develop a plan for deeper learning and knowledge transfer through implementing and evaluating the impact of Visible Learning and the T3 Framework in your classroom or school.
