In a dynamic and ever-changing global society, there is a need for citizens who can take on challenges, collaborate to solve issues and spur action in their own communities. One of education’s most essential purposes must be building self-efficacy and a growth mindset. When combined with academic rigor and the teaching of 21st Century Skills, students are well-adapted to take on whatever challenges arise.

This workshop focuses on the research behind these ideas and how we might apply this in our schools and classrooms. Educators will acquire strategies they can use for building classroom environments that encourage self-motivated, independent and resilient learners.
