They also document our gradual and sometimes spectacular triumphs over racism, help us metabolize the pain of discrimination, and transmit the joy to be found in justice.
Employing equal parts live performance and lecture, Eric shines a light on the role of Black American music in addressing racism in the US and it’s influence in informing the strategies of various movements for social justice across the globe. And yes…we’ll ALL be singing by the end!
