Presented by: Amanda Frank and Eleftheria Patsika | Anglo-American School of Sofia

This workshop is designed to empower schools to create a more inclusive environment when it comes to students with challenging behaviors and significant needs by providing them with the ideas, tools, and strategies to do so. Challenging behavior often results in students being asked to leave a school.

However, in order to become a truly inclusive environment, it is our job as educators to support students with all types of needs, including behaviors that may be seen as socially unacceptable.

Participants will leave with tools and strategies to identify the functions of behavior and examples and guides to create meaningful goals, systems and proactive/reactive strategies to address behaviors. They will also receive guidelines for how to train and supervise Learning Support Assistants (LSAs).
