Ahh yes…DIVERSITY. We all want it…it’s what we need…just gotta have it. Maybe so…but maybe not so. History has clearly shown us that spaces can be diverse but filled with dysfunction, inequity, and oppression.
This workshop will interrogate the language and lexicon of the diversity discourse and offer up a new framework that moves us beyond this Diversity Deception.
It will lay a foundation of racial literacy and applying the OnenessLab model to develop understanding, collapse the empathy gap, and engage around the Five Elements of Real Relationship (Proximity, Frequency, Reciprocity, Knowledge, Imagination).
