Using choice and agency allows for students of all abilities to access, engage with and enjoy mathematics. This workshop will provide a hands-on experience of demystifying providing choice and releasing control as a teacher, adapting assessments or projects to provide more choice and collaborating with other teachers to have open conversations about the importance of moving away from traditional assessments in mathematics.
