Loris Malaguzzi states that teaching begins with our image of childhood. Our images have a profound impact on how we view our students at present, choose to interact with them as well as frame and design our play environments.

Knowing the impact of how we view childhood, this session focuses on unpacking the image of childhood as it enables early childhood practitioners to address student agency as our view of children is one that sees them as the architects and leaders of their learning.
